What I’m looking for

A full-time technical operations, field service, or deployment role — on-site in Tampa Bay or remote. Titles that fit: Field Service Technician or Engineer, Deployment Technician, Implementation Specialist, AV/VTC Support Technician, Desktop Support Technician.

Why I’m worth a call

I was a technical operator at Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory. I ran and maintained a pressurized system carrying live chemicals inside a Naval Reactors facility, where a missed step could cost someone their life. I executed test protocols written by engineers and was accountable for the accuracy of the data they analyzed. Every maintenance evolution started with a pre-job safety brief alongside other trades. I don’t improvise on live systems, and I document what I do.

I served eight years in the Army Reserve, including a nine-month mobilization to Poland supporting Operation Atlantic Resolve — running fuel distribution for multinational NATO deterrence operations. Accountability for regulated equipment and hazardous material, under audit, far from home.

Since then I’ve built the civilian half of that skill set. I deploy and troubleshoot point-of-sale systems on-site at music festivals processing thousands of real-time transactions. I’ve stood up WiFi network infrastructure outdoors against a fixed deadline. I’ve spent years in AV, lighting, and staging, where the show starts on time regardless of what broke an hour earlier. And I’m a trained full-stack developer, so the software side of AV-over-IP, control systems, and integrations is familiar rather than foreign.

About the business on this site

You’ve probably noticed the rest of this site sells technical services. I’m not hiding it, and I’d rather address it directly than let you guess.

Running it has taught me things an employer actually wants: how to work unsupervised at a client site, how to own an outcome instead of a ticket, and how to explain a technical problem to someone who doesn’t want to hear about it. I’ve been trusted alone with other people’s equipment and other people’s revenue.

I’m looking for full-time work because I want to operate at a larger scale than one person can, with a team and systems that matter. I’ll scale the independent work down accordingly. If that raises a question for you, ask me — I’d rather answer it in an interview than have it quietly cost me one.
